How To Play

Welcome to Lucrative Fantasy — where your MMA knowledge meets the thrill of competition. Here’s how to get started and make your picks count:

The basics

Lucrative Fantasy is a daily fantasy sports game built around MMA. Each UFC card opens up new tournaments. You pick a lineup of fighters from that card, stay under a salary cap, and earn points based on how those fighters perform in their actual fights. Climb the leaderboard, win real cash prizes.

Step 1: Pick a tournament

Browse the tournament list for an upcoming card. Each tournament shows the entry fee, prize pool, total field size, and the payout structure. Free contests are great for getting started. Paid contests have bigger prize pools. Pick whatever fits

Step 2: Build your lineup

Once you enter a tournament, you'll see every fighter on that card with a salary attached. Salaries are based on odds and recent form. You've got a fixed salary cap for the whole lineup. Pick a full lineup of fighters that stays under the cap. The edge comes from spotting fighters who are underpriced for what they can do. A heavy favourite at a high salary is the safe pick. A good underdog at a low salary could be the difference between cashing and missing out.

Step 3: Lock and watch

Submit your lineup. You can edit it right up until the first fight on the card starts — after that, lineups are locked. When the fights start, your score updates live. You'll see your fighters earning points round by round. Track your position on the leaderboard as the card unfolds.

Step 4: Get paid

Once the final fight ends and official stats are confirmed, results lock in. If you finish in the prize positions, the payout lands in your wallet. Withdraw whenever you want.

Score Points

Points come from fight activity — every meaningful action your fighter performs in the cage earns you points.

  • Significant strikes landed: points per strike, with bonuses for strikes that land in distance and on the ground
  • Takedowns: points per successful takedown
  • Knockdowns: bonus points for every knockdown
  • Submission attempts: points per attempt
  • Control time: points based on minutes of control
  • Finishes: tiered bonus depending on when the finish happens — earlier finishes pay more
  • Achievement badges: bonus points for standout performances (Predator, Boa Constrictor, The Machine, The Wet Blanket)

Game modes

REGULAR

Regular mode is the standard game mode where points are gained and graded based on your fighter’s performance. This includes their total strikes, takedowns, submission attempts, and win methods during their match.

HARDCORE

Hardcore mode serves as a more intensive gameplay where points can be taken away for a fighter’s poor performance. Scenarios where points are taken off include: if your fighter lost their match, and how they lost (eg. knockouts lose significantly more points than a submission), how many strikes did your fighter absorb and etc.

Tips for new player

  • Don't just stack favourites — the salary cap punishes you for it
  • Look for finishers — the finish bonus is the single biggest swing in the scoring system
  • Read recent fight history before locking your lineup — fighter form shifts fast
  • Start with free contests until you've got a feel for the scoring
